MY CREATIVE PROCESS
My paper collages start life as a simple sketch from a photograph. I then search through quality glossy magazines for my colour palette, and begin hand tearing each piece of paper to create my artwork, so what you see is simply paper, no paint applied, time consuming, but never boring to make!
The Shropshire landscape around me provides a constant inspiration and influences alot of my work, from the countryside, towns, wildlife and the wonderful people I have met along the way. I have a passion for colour and texture and my torn paper collages reflect these loves.
